“I've always had an interest in photography but it was the purchase of a digital cameras in 2000 and a DSLR in 2004 that actually got me serious about the art. Now I passionately seeking out new photos in my spare time, rarely without a camera in hand.

Shutter Scouts is born out of my own frustration with the Irish weather: I'd come across a great location but the light would be flat, the weather would be wrong, the tide at the wrong height, etc. And when those perfect conditions did arise, I'd long forgotten about that location and that great idea.

So, whilst I may not be a pro photographer, I do hope that Shutter Scouts can help other professional photographers get stunning shots (and I'd love to see them!)”
